MC is a young girl in the sixth grade in a world parallel to our own. In her home of Paris, France, humans coexist with the dead, however, some ghosts are nasty and mean spirited. Those ghosts are called ghouls. After becoming mute due to a curse laid upon her by a ghoul, the young girl teams up with a magical sentient recorder and a blind boy with psychic powers in order to defeat the ghoul king and regain her voice.
