The Stories
- In a gigantic, 19th century steampunk library, a young and inexperienced library worker feels overwhelmed. In an accident, several characters from the library's own books tumble out into real life. The young library worker is tasked with the job of returning the characters into their own original books before they disappear for good, a process in which he finds himself as well.
(second choice)
- A bustling Japanese society in which humans find a way to see ghosts with special lenses. The ghosts assimilate into human society but are hit with bias against the humans themselves. A ghost, once a hero in her time, must face the bias that humans have against ghosts, and therefore herself.
